One of my proudest moments 💫
Over the last 6 months I’ve been working so hard behind the scenes fully planning this immense event at yorkbarbican with Boxxe followed by a wellness element the following day.
The event was to celebrate boxxe’s acquisition of Total Computers, making them one of the UK’s largest providers of software solutions - and I got to plan the event!
With 450 delegates to look after, 300 bedrooms across York, coach transfers, shuttle buses, AV support, team building, music, event styling, delegate registration, catering, wellness, logistics, and sourcing a 9ft 6 life size Goliath with 2 weeks notice, I’m BEYOND proud to say the entire event was a huge success.
This was a real pinch-me moment and I’m forever grateful to those who put their faith in me and VSM Consultancy.
A massive thank you to my amazing friends and family who supported with the event - I couldn’t have done it without you! 💕

The only thing to do when your mini client loves Aeroplanes is create their own airline of course! We loved transforming the_berkeley into an airport, it was a full immersive experience for both children and adults, key features included:
☁️ Check in: Bespoke boarding cards were checked, and baggage weighed on our conveyor belt
.
☁️ Security: Guests headed through Security before arriving on the main concourse. Our security guard checked, and everyone passed through safely
.
☁️ Passport Control: We made bespoke passports, and guests chose stamps from all over the world to put in their passports along with having their picture taken to put inside
.
☁️ First Class Lounge: Designated area for adults to relax, including real aeroplane seating
.
☁️ Bureau De Change: Our bubble house was turned into a Bureau De Change where guests had to find currency
.
☁️ In Flight Dining: Bespoke airline trays with the in-flight menu along with carefully curated and hand-made tableware and centre pieces made up for the dining experience
.
All this, along with a beautiful cake scene, interactive games, and photobooth for guests to enjoy.
