PAINTERS & PAINTINGS 22nd BIRTHDAY PARTY for an art loving family!
At the beginning of the year Kittyโs mother sent me an image of The Rausing Room at The National Gallery, taken when on a family visit, with the caption โTent goalsโฆโฆโ!!! The challenge was set for me to create their own โGalleryโ for two consecutive evenings of parties! On the Friday, a lovely โLast of the Summer Rosรฉโ drinks party for the adults, and on the Saturday a FABULOUS 22nd birthday party, shared with her brother William celebrating his 24th!
It was the perfect opportunity to hire a clear roofed marquee! The walls were lined in a wine coloured crushed velvet with some ceiling swags too. I covered the bar in black velvet draped with crushed gold velvet, and hired in a range of velvet sofas and gold occasional tables and stools, not forgetting the transformative naked male and female statues which I enhanced with uplighters!
Kitty, William, friends & family sure know how to party - taking the guests on an epic journey from โsedateโ drinks and nibbles, to full-on crowd surfing! The party continued until the early hours and guests who were camping in an adjacent field were revived in the morning by a coffee van serving naughty pastries too!
Whether guests were dressed as Queen Victoria, Pigcasso, the Girl with the Pearl Earring, The Son of Man or a decorator in white splattered dungarees, EVERYONE went crazy on the dancefloor, fuelled by paella and Moscow Mules!

THE most amazing set up for a perfect private birthday event with blackout starlight lining, sublime contemporary furniture from velvetliving and of course the showstopper 4m giant oak tree from eventprophire to finish the perfect evening set up ๐๐ผ
How do we even describe everything that took place the Elemental Ball in Oxford? This was truly our largest fantasy ball and most activity packed event from floor to ceiling!
In the ballroom we danced the night away in many forms. The evening started with fantasy favourites played on the organ by reductiomusic, followed by a mesmerising acrobatic performance by oxfordacrouk. Our hostess tornandpolished took to the stage in a beautiful euriellvairecreations gown illuminated by engineeredcouture. We had the wonderful thecoventgardenminuetcompany accompanied by bluetopazmusic to learn historical dance. Later in the evening we were graced after the costume contest with beautiful violin remixes by ebbahaastrup followed by our surprise DJ set with our very own organist reductiomusic!
But the ballroom was not the end of things, for there were many other adventures to be had. From Photo Booth rooms by geekchic.events, immersive theatrical experiences by outlawents and live drawing experiences by londondrawing, treaty signing and bracelet making, there were endless opportunities to join our realm. But lest we forget of those incredible artists in attendance such as the wonderful guest authors from house.of.ya, euriellvairecreations costume design booth or the enchanting olivia.rose.james painting up a master peace.
The Elemental Ball was an explosion of creativity from our incredibly talented suppliers and our mystical guests โจ They shall speak of this night in legend on day.

Welcome to The Lost Forest at homehouselondon an atypical Halloween party with pumpkins and cobwebs respectfully shunned.
This otherworldly theme gave us endless room (and rooms!) to explore. Weโre fortunate to have worked with Home House on many productions and, as always, with each party we want to up the ante, bringing members a fresh new take on their familiar surroundings.
With that in mind, we made sure that every room in the House felt overgrown as though nature had been slowly reclaiming it. At heart of the building, the Grand Staircase became a shrine of the dead, adorned (naturally) with a sacrificial boarโs head, the Bison Bar transformed into a witchy bayou complete with a reclining weeping willow, furnished with pagan totems and hand-made talismans.
And hidden in plain sight amongst the greenery and foliage was an ambitious cast of performers including dark fae and faun characters, a 9-piece brass band dressed in ghillie suits, actual birds of prey and, of course, a 9ft troll guarding the venueโs entrance.
