Established for over 19 years, EPH Creative is one of the UK’s leading event & theming suppliers. We work with an ever-growing & impressive range of clients from well-known TV Shows, to Visitor Attractions, Corporate Clients, Weddings and Private Parties. We have a reputation for exceptional quality and care in the services and products we provide to our clients. From our HQ in Thorp Arch Wetherby, we supply props and theming to over 2,000 events & bespoke projects each year, manufactured in our state of the art Production Facility, and delivered Nationwide by our own logistics fleet. Our Warehouse is an Aladdin’s cave of props, furniture and theming, totalling over 145,000 sq ft.
If you are looking for a part-time role working in a great team, then our Payroll Adminstrator position might be for you.
The ideal candidate will be meticulous, and possess strong processing skills.
You will be responsible, have a good team ethic, be numeric, able to plan and prioritise your workload, and be well organised with a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Processing & managing the entire Payroll & PAYE including employee salaries, wages, overtime & deductions
Calculating and deducting appropriate tax, holiday pay, National Insurance contributions and other deductions
Maintaining accurate & up to date payroll records including employee information, tax deductions, & payment history
Addressing employee queries, resolving payroll discrepancies, and handling any issues or disputes
Managing year-end payroll tasks such as P60 preparation & distribution, generating reports & carrying out audits when required
Processing payroll for new starters and leavers, gathering necessary payroll & tax information such as P45’s & completing new starter checklists
Generating accurate and detailed pay slips for each employee on a weekly basis ensuring that all necessary information, such as earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits, is correctly reflected
Ensure that wage slips are distributed to employees & salaries are paid to employees and freelancers in a timely manner (electronic format)

Skills/attributes required

Excellent attention to detail and meticulous work ethic
Be able to work with complete professionalism & confidentiality when handling sensitive employee data
Experience using Microsoft Office (including Excel)
Experience using Sage 50 Payroll or ability to pick up systems quickly & accurately
High level of numeracy skills

Hours of work

8-16 hours per week, must be across Tuesday/Wednesday for processing purposes

Salary:

£22-25,000 pro rata, negotiable based on experience
