EVENT SHOW 2008

One Magical Night In Venice...
Event Prop Hire helped to transform a marquee at Rudding Park in Harrogate into a magical Venetian town, with a real 30 metre long canal & stone bridges. The Firecracker Ball, organised by The Angels Communications Ltd, entertains over 800 guests and is a spectacular show. The Charity event, hosted in aid of the childrens charity Barnardos raised over 150,000 this year, their most successful year to date.

Growth Business Award
Event Prop Hire is one of three Growth Business finalists in the York Evening Press Business Awards. The rapid growth of Event Prop Hire within the events industry over the past 5 years has been recognised as a massive achievemnt by the panel of judges from the awards. Event Prop Hire (part of SceneCraft UK Ltd) won the Evening Press Young Entreprenuer of the Year award in 2005, following a string of awards achieved in the early years of the business. In 2004, In addition to a BBC North award, SceneCraft won the Livewire Young Entrepenuer of the Year Awards for the York & Humberside region, and qualified as one of 12 finalists at the National Young Entrepreneur awards.
