Event Prop Hire at Confex 2010
Event Prop Hire had a great showing at Confex 2010 in Earls Court during February.
With two stands on show this year, we had our own unique interpretation of Alice in Wonderland with a funky Chill Out Garden with neon toadstools and Pink Furniture.
So popular was the garden that visitors used it as an impromptu break out area whilst the head of security for the FA cup asked if the cup could be photographed in the area as it was 'so different'.
Our main stand was a mini version of our vast warehouses and was designed to illustrate the sheer volume and variety our the theming and props we can offer.
Show highlights were almost certainly the Event Prop Hire team being asked to pose with the FA Cup for publicity of the Cup.
Event Prop Hire Supplies Giant Pop Out Cake to Amanda Holden & Simon Cowell
Event Prop Hire was proud to supply its popular Giant Pop Out Cake for the 100th Edition of Fabulous Magazine.
As it was a special birthday for the magazine, a special cake with special guests was needed and so Event Prop Hire's Giant Pop Out Cake was used to deliver the surprise package of Amanda Holden to Simon Cowell before interviewing the Pop Mogul for the magazine.

Event Prop Hire Sponsors Action Against Hunger
Event Prop Hire was proud to sponsor the Action Against Hunger Ball held at the Royal York on Saturday 21st November.
The idea was a Strictly Come Dancing theme where guests could 'dance' against hunger. Event Prop Hire was proud to supply a number of Strictly Come Dancing themed props including a pair of Giant Red Glitter Stilettos, Giant Mirror Ball, Illuminated Bulb Entranceway and Revolving Mirror Ball Table Centres.
The evening's highlight was a dance competion judged by Strictly Come Dancing Winner and Profesional dancer Karen Hardy. Over £21,000 was raised for the charity on the evening.
Event Prop Hire goes to 2009 MTV Music Awards in Berlin!
Event Prop Hire was proud to provide its renowned Giant Stiletto shoe to the MTV Music Awards in Berlin in November 2009.
Katy Perry spent a portion of the show presenting from the shoe and looked great in it!
Event Prop Hire Supplies Props For Take That Circus Show
Event Prop Hire was proud to supply a number of Circus themed props for the backstage dressing room of Take That.
In the Radio One video interview between the band and Chris Moyles, a number of our circus themed silhouette panels can be seen.
Later in the video, Chris can be seen leaning against our Circus Baby Elephant on plinth whilst Comedy Dave and Gary Barlow tinker on the piano.

Event Prop Hire launched its budget packages this week for those on a shoestring. This is in direct response to the ongoing recession gripping the UK currently. Event Prop Hire has put together carefully considered packages for its most popular themes: Hollywood, Casino and Bond with Bronze, Solver and Gold package variations at heavliy discounted prices.
Each package is shipped in a steel crate 1240mm x 1240mm x 2000mm using a 3rd party delivery service. Delivery addresses must be able to recieve a 18 tonne delivery vehicle and client's must be able to store the crate for the duration of the hire period.
Delivery prices start from as little as £60+vat each way. Please note this service is not available within central London.

Event Prop Hire Success at RSVP 09
Event Prop Hire enjoyed a successful RSVP 09 as official Bar Sponsors in conjunction with CocktailStars.
"The Wonka stand was clearly the best one at the show. In fact, one of the best ever" Event Magazine commented on their Twitter Page'
Event Prop Hire themed the entire bar in a Willy Wonka theme complete with factory gates, giant candy canes, lollipops and rolling green fields.
Guests were then invited to take a stroll across the purple wonka bridge to the Mixing Lab of CocktailStars, where this fabulous theme was continued by the CocktailStars bartenders, who served up an ambitious cocktail menu full of “molecular mixology”.
Show highlights included Myleene Klass filming the latest episode of 10 Years Younger at our themed bar where she enjoyed one of CocktailStars Sherbet Lemon Martinis.
Finally, World Bartender Flairing Champion Tom Dyer showed off his skills to the audience on the Event Prop Hire Bridge!
The scene will be set by expert Themed Event Prop Designers Event Prop Hire, who are building their interpretation of Wonka’s factory –entering through the famous factory gates, into the fantastical chocolate garden, with the CocktailStars bar set in the Wonka Lab.
CocktailStars will serve up an ambitious candy themed drinks menu full of “molecular mixology” – including a “Margarita Berry Sorbet” created with dry ice, hot chocolate, alcoholic candy floss & absinthe mist., “Sherbet Lemon Martinis”, the “Toffee Apple”, & the “Parma Violet Fizzy Lifting Drink”.
The RSVP bar is launching a collaboration between CocktailStars & Event Prop Hire to design & create a portfolio of themed bars for events. These creations include a “Wild West Saloon Bar” complete with Cowboy bartenders and “Cowgirl” Cocktails, a Moulin Rouge bar with French Martinis served by the Absinthe Fairy & an Art Deco bar serving the classic cocktails of the 1930s.
”This partnership is allowing us to continue our approach of creating bars that are entertainment features at events” says CocktailStars Kate O’Neil, “ – combining our bar kit & technical expertise with a custom designed set that allows us to enhance the themed entertainment we provide”.
Event Prop Hire had a successful exhibiting at the International Confex show at Earls court between February 24th and 26th. This was our first time and we very much enjoyed meeting you all there!
Our stand was short listed for best in show but narrowly missed out.
We were also proud to sponsor elements of the event from the organiser's office to the after show exhibitor's party where a number of our Alice in Wonderland props were used.

Event Prop Hire Supplies Props For 'RadioTimes Photo Exclusive'
Event Prop Hire was proud to supply a number of its world famous fake bricks to the RadioTimes for a photo shoot with famous fiddler Nigel Kennedy for its 12-18 July 2008 edition.
The idea for the shoot was would the violinist's return to the Proms bring the house crashing down? Hence, lots of bricks scattered around him as he played.
Our fake bricks are made from expanding foam making them all nice & soft for throwing them at people without harm. Available to hire or buy here.
Event Prop Hire Sedan Chair Carries Jack Black To Film Premiere
Event Prop Hire was proud to supply at short notice, a Sedan Chair prop which was used to transport Hollywood film star Jack Black to the Film Premier of Kung Fu Panda at London's Leicester Square on June 26th 2008.
The larger than life star certainly looked to be enjoying himself inside the prop as he was carried up the red carpet to waiting press & fans.

For the second time in a month, Event Prop Hire featured in Heat Magazine by supplying props for a promotion in conjunction with T-Mobile. Heat Magazine's 28 June - 4th July 2008 edition shows two models sitting a top of our Giant Passport prop.
