Event Prop Hire has the X Factor and hits Wembley with Strictly!

Event Prop Hire is very proud to announce that on Saturday 26th November, we made their X Factor debut! Several of our American Diner themed props accompanied the only band left in the competition, Little Mix with their mash up of Justin Bieber and Diana Ross.

Little Mix performed surrounded by our American Diner Bar, American Diner Sign, Giant Coca Cola Bottle, Giant Hamburger, Giant Ice Cream Sundae, Giant Strawberry Ice Cream and Giant Chocolate Ice Cream! Click here to take a look at the Gallery!

As well as being on ITV, Event Prop Hire was also on Strictly Come Dancing! The Strictly Cast headed to Wembley Arena, and Event Prop Hire’s British Red Telephone Box was on the dancefloor with all the dancers for a Beatles inspired dance routine! Event Prop Hire Braves York Dungeons

Before the Christmas madness takes over and everyone is kept busier than Santa’s Elves, the Event Prop Hire staff dressed up in our Halloween finery and headed to York Dungeon for a night of frights, fun and fancy dress!

And with a cash prize for the best costume, the outfits ranged from Amy Winehouse to Zombies. With first prize being awarded to Amy from the Workshop as Edward Scissorhands, and runners up including Business Development Colin as a Zombie and Workshop’s David as an asylum escapee, the Event Prop Hire staff looked like a scary bunch!

An afterhour guided tour of York Dungeons, followed by a party with Monster Floor Fillers whilst being watched over by models of torture victims meant that it was a very spooky setting...take a look at the pictures here!

 

Event Prop Hire Staff Show New Levels of Work Dedication

Here at Event Prop Hire we have a very talented and hardworking team of sculptors, carpenters, painters and prop makers who are able to transform raw materials into everything from a Traditional Pub Front to Giant Peep Thru Flowers.

As they are kept busy creating props, our carpenter Craig has always joked that his face would never make it on to eventprophire.com and therefore no one would know what he looks like. But now Event Prop Hire is proud to show Craig's debut on the website! And the picture we've chosen not only shoes how dedicated he is to his work, but how he's more than capable of working in confined spaces!

Event Prop Hire Showcases at Square Meal

From Wednesday the 21st to Thursday the 22nd of September, Event Prop Hire headed to Square Meal at Old Billingsgate, taking two very different themes with us!

Our first theme was a very sleek, sophisticated black, white and silver look with the Black and White Dancefloor and Art Deco Starburst Backdrop. Take a look at the picture with Laura chatting to a Square Meal visitor on our Illuminated Sofa!

 Our other theme for Square Meal was a sweet filled garden, complete with our Box Hedge Seating,  Large Box Hedges and Grass Covered 3 Seater Sofa.Dotted around the garden were a pick and mix selction of Event Prop Hire's sweet props. Take a look at our Giant Liquorice Allsorts, Candy Canes, Lollipops and Gummy Bears!

Event Prop Hire Introduces 'Prop Hospital'!

Now that Event Prop Hire has such a large space to store all of our amazing props, we've added a dedicated team and area to ensure that everything always reaches you in tip top condition...the 'Prop Hospital'! In addition to our full time team of  Prop Makers, we also have Barry, Jack and Rob who work full time (and more!) to make sure that all our props stay looking their best for you!
