We were happy to be involved with Channel 5 on the filming of their latest episode of Celebrity Wedding Planner, featuring Denise Welsh and Russel Grant. The couple put together a Glitz & Glam themed wedding, which really blew the couple away.
You can catch our lovely warehouse on film in this episode, and watch Denise as she takes a tour around our stores, and meet our very own Lorna in the process!
We were delighted to be asked to offer our theming expertise for Go Wild!, a brand new jungle themed adventure and soft play area at the Galleria shopping centre, Hatfield. We worked closely with both the play equipment providers, Soft Play UK, and the shopping centre management, to design the theming for this new soft play zone and this concluded in us winning the contract to manufacture a number of bespoke jungle themed items for the area. The items we made included: an imposing entranceway that at 5m high and 7m wide simply couldn't fail to catch the eye; a versatile reception hut; a new version of our fabulous toadstool tea party set and several different styles of our vividly coloured giant mushrooms.
In addition to the bespoke items and to finish off the jungle look, our hire stock offered up plenty of options for some extra theming, resulting in a number of our wild animals moving into the new Go Wild! area for the summer; adding that extra bit of jungle authenticity!
At Event Prop Hire, we opened our warehouse to all our staff and their family & friends to come and take a look around. We enjoyed a lovely sunny afternoon, with BBQ, cakes and bouncy castles!
This was the first ever teambulding day for Event Prop Hire, and it was a real success. We had around 40 athletes come together for a series of challenging and physical games, from the Egg & Spoon race, to the Rodeo Bull!
There was blood, sweat and tears, and plenty of bruised bodies for a good few days after, but we all had a great day!
